1. Services Provided
True Day Water Damage Restoration provides professional water damage restoration, mold remediation, sewage cleanup, fire and smoke damage restoration, biohazard cleanup, and related property restoration services to residential and commercial clients throughout Salt Lake County, Utah, including South Jordan, West Jordan, Riverton, Sandy, Salt Lake City, and surrounding communities.
All services are subject to a written estimate or authorization form agreed upon between you and True Day Water Damage Restoration prior to commencement of work. The scope of services, pricing, and timeline will be outlined in that documentation. We reserve the right to modify the scope of work if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the restoration process, with your knowledge and approval.
2. Acceptance of Estimates & Authorization
By signing an estimate, authorization to proceed, or work order — whether in person, electronically, or verbally — you authorize True Day Water Damage Restoration to perform the agreed-upon services at your property. You represent and warrant that you are the property owner or have the legal authority to authorize work to be performed on the property in question.
Any changes to the original scope of work must be authorized by you in writing or via documented verbal approval before additional work is performed. Change orders may affect the final cost and timeline of the project.
3. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due as outlined in your estimate or invoice. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Debit, and Cash. The following terms apply:
- A deposit may be required prior to the start of certain projects, as specified in your estimate.
- Final payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue collection through appropriate legal channels, and you agree to pay all reasonable collection costs, including attorney’s fees, if applicable.
- If payment is being made through an insurance claim, you remain personally responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurer, including deductibles.
4. Insurance Claims
True Day Water Damage Restoration is experienced in working with homeowner and commercial insurance policies and can assist in documenting damage for your claim. However, please note the following:
- We do not guarantee that your insurance carrier will approve or cover any particular scope of work or dollar amount.
- Any assignment of insurance benefits (“AOB”) must be agreed upon in a separate written document and is subject to applicable Utah law.
- You are responsible for understanding your policy’s coverage, deductibles, and exclusions. We recommend communicating directly with your insurance adjuster throughout the claims process.
- Final responsibility for payment of services rendered remains with you, the property owner or authorized representative, regardless of insurance claim outcome.
5. Access to Property
You agree to provide True Day Water Damage Restoration and its employees, subcontractors, and equipment with safe, reasonable, and timely access to the affected property for the purpose of performing the agreed-upon services. Delays caused by restricted access may affect project timelines and could result in additional charges.
We will take reasonable precautions to protect your property and belongings while on-site. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage resulting from conditions that were not disclosed to us prior to beginning work.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
True Day Water Damage Restoration performs all services in a professional and workmanlike manner using industry-standard equipment and techniques. However, we make no guarantee that restoration services will return a property to its exact pre-loss condition in all cases, particularly where significant structural damage, long-term water intrusion, or pre-existing deficiencies exist.
Our website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
7. Limitation of Liability

Mold remediation services are performed in accordance with industry guidelines and applicable standards. You acknowledge that:
- Mold remediation reduces mold to normal environmental levels but does not guarantee that mold will never return if moisture conditions are not addressed and corrected by the property owner.
- It is your responsibility to repair or correct the underlying moisture source (e.g., plumbing leaks, roof leaks, poor ventilation) to prevent mold recurrence.
- We recommend post-remediation testing by an independent, certified industrial hygienist to verify clearance, which is a separate service not provided by True Day Water Damage Restoration unless explicitly included in your estimate.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the True Day Water Damage Restoration website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and service descriptions — is the property of True Day Water Damage Restoration or its content licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
